Boy has his leg amputated after kicking moving train

A 16-year-old boy lost his leg while trying to kick a moving train. According to the Fire Department, the young man was treated and taken to hospital in serious condition on Wednesday afternoon, the 29th, in Ponta Grossa, city of Brazil's south.

"He told the paramedics, that angry at the delay of the train, kicked him when it arrived at the train station. He wrapped his leg and came to have the amputation of the right limb," said one of the paramedics.

This happened in a place where there is large flow of cars and by which also should not be pedestrian traffic. The company responsible for trains lamented in a statement the accident, but stressed that it prohibited the movement of people in operational areas of the railway, which includes the entire area of the rails.
