Bomb squad is put into action due to suspicious bag in Rio de Janeiro

The bomb squad of the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro was called due to a suspicious bag in the neighborhood of Leblon, a prime area of the city, said the police.

 The suitcase was abandoned by a man on a busy street in the neighborhood, according witnesses. The man ran off soon after. The area has been isolated and squad experts removed the suspicious bag from the place.

 The area where the bag was dropped is surrounded by residential and commercial buildings, as well as schools and cinemas.
