Students intoxicates teacher with rat poison in Bahia

Which teacher never gained a gift or even a snack from your student? The gesture simple and affectionate almost resulted in the death of teacher Ednalva Souza, victim of a poisoning. The suspects are three boys between the ages of 7 and 8, their students.

Ednalva is a teacher of the 2nd year of primary education at Educandário Santana Amorim, at Aiene Miranda street, in the Floresta Negra neighborhood, where the event happened last Friday.

One witness reported that, Ednalva received a stuffed biscuit containing chumbinho, a Brazilian poison used to kill rats. She was taken to the Roberto Santos Hospital, where she has already been discharged.

According to the communication office of the Health Department of the State of Bahia, the teacher was admitted to the unit with signs of poisoning. But the dose was considered small, it went through a stomach wash and was released the same day.
