Brazilian city distributes giant backpacks to students and becomes a joke

The city of Jequié, Bahia, became famous in social networks after distributing giant backpacks to the students. There are almost 18,000 students from public schools in the city, who received backpacks of the same size: both elementary school children and high school adolescents.
After the delivery of the school kits in Jequié, in a short time the big backpacks viralized on the internet as a meme. It all started with a picture of children with almost the size of the bag.
The bags are so large that a student entered inside his backpack and published a photograph, giving rise to jokes with Brazilian social programs. "The children have already secured a backpack to live in. My Home, My Bag!" wrote a Twitter user.
