Burger King launches grilled hot dogs in Brazilian stores

After the USA, Brazil became the 2nd country in the world, where the fast food chain Burger King started to market hot dogs. Since May 7, the Burger King stores offers the classic hot dog (bread, sausage, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and straw potato) and an enhanced version with bacon and cheddar. The hot dog definitely goes to the official menu after being sold in the country by a trial period. In 2016, some stores in the interior of the São Paulo state, already sold the product (Campinas was the first city to sales the hot dogs of Burger King).

The new product has a suggested price of BRL 7.90. The combo, which in addition to hot dogs comes with french fries (or onion rings) and soda in the free recharge system, costs BRL 22.90. According to the marketing department of the company, prices may vary according to the region where stay the store (on the periphery you will save more). Unlike the hot dogs already marketed by local fast food chains, the sausage used in the recipe was made with 100% beef and grilled as a barbecue.
