Young founds popular library in a town of the interior of Brazil

The fact happened in the small town of Serrote, about 15 km from Conceição do Coité, Bahia. The student Maria Clara, a girl of only 12 years old, decided to open a popular library to encourage reading among children and adolescents of the village.

She started a book collection campaign through WhatsApp and created a collection, with didatic books and classics of Brazilian literature! The library was built where was formerly a telephone office. The foundation of the Library "Friends of Reading" had the help of his grandfather, Guiofredo Pereira, president of the community residents association.
