Fights between fans of Palmeiras and Corinthians, hours before the game last Sunday ended with one dead and 25 people arrested. The clashes took place in three locations in the metropolitan area of ​​São Paulo: Sao Miguel Paulista in the east zone of the city, in Guarulhos and in the subway station Brás, on downtown.

The fatal victim, according to the military police, not involved in the confrontation. He was hit by a stray bullet as he passed by a square, opposite the train station of São Miguel Paulista neighborhood. The shot hit the heart of the pedestrian, who died instantly.

In another area of ​​São Paulo, in the Brás subway station, the police were called to break up a fight between members of the supporters of the two teams. The train circulation came to be interrupted. The riot squad entered the Brás station to stop the confrontation. According to a subway security, there was even a call asking for a stretcher to remove a person that would have fallen on the tracks during the confusion in Brás station.

The third focus of fighting was in Guarulhos, where two fans of Palmeiras were in serious condition and 25 people were arrested.
