Prostitutes began operating radio in São Caetano do Sul

A radio operated by prostitutes, the "Red Zone FM", went on the air in the first half of 2014. The project was consolidated after the Association of Prostitutes of São Caetano do Sul conquer a partnership with the the Municipal Department of Culture.
The radio wants to create partnerships with teachers and volunteers to carry out technical and managerial positions, but doesn't rule out help of the private sector to produce its programming.
"Red Zone FM" is only a temporary name: there are still not sure if the title will be accepted by the Ministry of Communications. But it is sure that the radio will focus initially in the prostitutes of Greater ABC  and their base will be in the city of São Caetano do Sul, where is the highest concentration of prostitutes in the region and the mansion that serves as the headquarters for the association.
The APROSCAS (Association of Prostitutes of São Caetano do Sul) has more than 3,000 associates and believe they have another two thousand women working as prostitutes in the region.
"Many associates are housewifes that wait their husbands go out to work and go in search of the fun that don't find at home," says Paula Barboza, representative of the association.
