A 21-year-old man was beaten by security guards at a nightclub in Santos, off the coast of São Paulo, he did not resist and died on Sunday night (29). Lucas Martins de Paula was attacked during the dawn of July 7, in and out of the Baccará Bar and Backstage, in the neighborhood Embaré. The father of the young man, Isaias de Paula, said that friends who were with the student reported that Lucas went to the cashier to pay the bill, when he noticed the charge of $ 15 more on the order, corresponding to a beer. The security guards were called, and the confusion began. The friends alleged in police testimony that they also picked up. After 22 days of hospitalization at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Lucas didn't resist the severe condition and died. According to a report released by the hospital, the patient, even during the period when he was without sedation, did not demonstrate any neurological response. There is still no information on funeral and burial.

The tragedy occurred in the city of Janaúba, in the interior of Minas Gerais. Altogether there were 10 deaths: 8 children, 1 teacher and the watchman, who set fire to himself, in the students and caused the fire that resulted the tragedy. The Minas Gerais State Attorney's Office (MPMG) has opened three inquiries and a procedure to investigate the fire. One of the objectives is to verify the watchman, Damião Soares dos Santos, had psychological problems. Around 9 o'clock on Thursday, the guard entered the school, threw flammable material against the children and into his own body, and set it on fire, which quickly spread. In the midst of the tumult, people tried to extinguish the fire with buckets of water and rescue the victims of the flames, without success.

The urban violence in Brazil seems to have no limits. Roberto Bardella, 52, was killed in the Morro dos Prazeres, Santa Teresa neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro. A teenager was found dead in the afternoon of October 24 at Santa Felicidade State College in Curitiba. The information was confirmed by the State Department of Public Security and Prison Administration of Paraná (SESP / PR). According to the public agency, the death occurred around 4pm. The 16-year-old was a student of the school. The school is one of more than 800, which is occupied in the state. Civilian and Scientific Police teams went to the site to gather information. "The secretariat handles the issue with priority, to clarify as quickly as possible what happened," informed the Public Press. The students occupy the schools in Paraná and in other states of Brazil with the aim of provoking general chaos in the educational system. Leaders of the movement say they are protesting against the Provisional Measure that aims to reshape high school, in addition to claiming the legalization of drugs, the abortion right, the gay marriage and digital piracy in Brazil.
