Drivers facing the holes of the RS-786 road, on the north coast of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, decided to put a couch in the middle of the track to alert anyone who travels there. A driver passed the spot around noon on 20 November when he saw the sofa in the height of 29 km, between Tramandaí and Cidreira. He stopped to take a picture, that practically viralizou on social networks.

According to him, the situation is so critical that many people have risked not very orthodox ways. "People are already using the edge of the beach to haven't to go there, because that stretch is impossible to travel on," he added.
There are several reports of drivers who accumulate losses breaking cars in the holes or even getting involved in accidents, because of the poor maintenance of the highway, says the driver. In the months of heat, the stretch gain a much larger movement by the arrival of tourists to the north coast of the state.
