Economic recession makes automakers come into crisis in Brazil
Courtyard of automaker crowded: crisis After four years of economic growth close to 0% and clumsy political actions committed by President Dilma Rousseff, the Brazil plunged into an economic crisis without limits: the shares of Brazilian companies fell sharply in international markets, the dollar value rises gradually every day, the industrial production is paralyzed and the purchasing power of the middle class fell for the third consecutive year. But the main sector of the economy that was affected, was the automotive sector. Increase in industry taxes, imported parts more expensive, bureaucratic and inflexible labor laws, labors without skilled labor, lending difficulties and low purchasing power of most of the population, are factors that are contributing to the automakers not able to sell their vehicles and therefore are paralyzing their activities (Fiat and Ford) and firing (VW and GM) and even leaving the country (Mahimdra).
