A 27-year-old man, who attempted to steal a house in the Areão neighborhood of Cuiabá, was detained by residents on the morning of November 25. The Military Police found the man tied by ropes on a power pole on Brasilia Street. According to witnesses, the robber tried to steal the plastic cover of a cell phone, believing that it was  a telephone. According to the Military Police, a resident was at home and was surprised by the robber who invaded the place. The suspect was in one of the rooms of the house and held the plastic cover of the cell phone. Upon seeing the resident, the robber ran and tried to escape. Other people and residents who were in the area chased the thief and managed to immobilize him. The suspect stayed tied by his legs, shoulders and had his arms and hands pinned back. According to the G1 , the police took off the thief of the light pole and took him, to the city's central police station.

Man confesses to have poisoned the chocolate milk consumed by children On the afternoon of September 1, Adonis Joseph Negri, 61, confessed to having poisoned the chocolate milk that caused the death of a two year old boy in Cuiaba, Mato Grosso. The officer responsible for the case, Darimar Carneiro Aguiar said in an interview that Deuel de Rezende Soares, 27, stole the drink of his house and sold the product to the child's father, who ended up giving to the child unknowingly about the poisoning. According with the expertise reports, the death of the boy was caused by ingestion of rat poison and all other drives found in the family home were also contaminated. After thorough research, the experts ruled out a biological contamination by bacteria or fungus, due to the manufacturing process and identified external contamination through a hole compatible syringe needle on the upper side of each container.
